Questions from candidates
Do I need to be ACCA qualified?
No. Many of the accountants we place are ACCA part-qualified, and some are fully qualified. We also consider CA and CMA students and commerce graduates with hands-on bookkeeping experience. Tell us where you are with your exams.
I have no UK experience. Can I still apply?
Yes. Tell us which software you have used and what work you did in it. UK experience makes you easier to place, but clients mostly want someone who already knows how to keep a clean set of books.
What are the working hours in Pakistan time?
UK office hours, 9am to 5pm, are 1pm to 9pm in Pakistan while the UK is on summer time (late March to late October) and 2pm to 10pm in the UK winter. Hours are agreed for each role before you start.
Is the job remote?
Yes. You work from home in Pakistan for a client in the UK.
How much will I be paid?
Pay is in PKR and depends on the role, your experience and the client. Give your expected salary on the form and we will discuss it on the first call.
Do you charge candidates any fee?
No. We never ask candidates for money, for registration, training or anything else. If someone asks you to pay in StaffLink’s name, it is not us: email info@stafflinksolutions.co.uk.
What if there is no role for me right now?
We keep your application for 12 months and contact you if a matching role opens. After 12 months we delete it, including your CV.
Who can see my CV?
Only our recruitment team. We share it with a UK client only when we put you forward for a role. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Is StaffLink Solutions a real company?
